Hoisin Beef Patties

Minced beef patties with dipping sauce.

Ingredients

250g     Beef, minced with at least 12% fat
1 unit     egg, beaten
1 Tbsp     corn starch
1 Tbsp     vegetable oil

Dipping Sauce

mix well and set aside (optional)
1 Tbsp Lee Kum Kee Hoi Sin Sauce
1 Tbsp Tomato ketchup
3 Tbsp Mayonnaise

Method

1 Marinade with minced beef Kung Fu Dragon Light Soy Sauce , Kung Fu Dragon Hoisin Sauce , egg and corn starch. Set aside for at least 30 mins.
2 Split the beef mince into 4 portions and shape into four balls.
3 Heat a frying pan to medium heat. Add oil and coat surface well.
4 Place 2 balls onto pan and press down with spatula to form patties. Cook 2 minutes on each side till a brown crust forms. Turn over and cook for another 2 minutes. Repeat until all patties are cooked.
5 Serve with dipping sauce and salad.
